How can you prove the existence of the Hereafter, i.e., life after death?

Belief in the Hereafter is supported by multiple lines of reasoning: the Qur'an as a divine source affirms it, the concept of ultimate justice requires it (since many wrongs go unpunished in this life), and it provides the necessary moral framework for human civilization. Without accountability after death, there would be no ultimate consequence for evil and no reward for good, making moral behavior merely optional rather than meaningful.

What does Islam say about Jesus (Isa)?

وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَيُوشِكَنَّ أَنْ يَنْزِلَ فِيكُمُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ حَكَمًا عَدْلاً

Walladhi nafsi biyadihi la yushikanna an yanzila fikum ibnu Maryama hakaman 'adlan

The Prophet said: 'By the One in Whose hand is my soul, the son of Mary will descend among you as a just judge. He will break the cross, kill the swine, and abolish the jizyah.'

Tuhsharuna hufatan 'uratan ghurlan

The Prophet said: 'You will be resurrected bare-footed, naked and uncircumcised.' He then recited: 'As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it' (21:104). He added: 'The first to be dressed will be Abraham. Then some of my companions will take to the right and to the left. I will say: My companions! It will be said: They had been renegades since you left them. I will then say what the pious slave Jesus, the son of Mary said: And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them; when You did take me up, You were the Watcher over them, and You are a Witness to all things. If You punish them, they are Your slaves, and if You forgive them, You, only You are the All-Mighty the All-Wise.' (5:117-118)
